    I am a newbie to racing. I never thought racing can be so bad as in Pune.I was running mad not knowing how to pick a winner.Is it always like this in Pune?

    I had written a few days back people run only after winners,i don't know why?In some races you get good odds like 0.75 to 1.5 for place.People don't like to play that.In the next race when a fav is running for 0.50 they will play that heavily.Why?I asked a guy why he always bet on wins and he said'HAMERE KHANDAN ME AAJ TAK KISI NE PLACE NAHI KIYA".Are bhai tu kaun se nawab ke khandan ka hai.People having such egos see the exit gates in a very short period of time.Go for good places and don't leave if a horse is going for win.Anybody interested come to pune @iqbal stall near the paddock at the time of pune races and i will show them owners betting 80% place and and 20% on win.When owners follow this pattern then who are we to go only for wins?Isi liye buzurg keh gaye"asaan paisa kabhi bhi asaan nahi hota".

    You are right. But i am never greedy.I have always given your selections top priority.I always look for place bets.Last time Zagros was pulled when it was near the winning post.I have many times wondered how you pick those horses to such perfection.Is it experience or you consult any other material?Every time you didn't send your choices i have lost.I know i cant depend on spoon feeding all the time.If you are generous and willing will you give punters like me who have practically very little knowledge, some ways/ideas/techniques etc that will help us choose at least 3/4 definite win/place selections in a given day?
